Harmony and Continuity: The New Berloni Living Collection.
Designing Total Living
In our journey of redefining the Berloni world, we imagined the home as a single, grand living fabric. The kitchen environment is no longer a closed space, but the beating heart from which energy and warmth radiate toward the living area. To accompany this natural evolution, we designed a new collection of furnishings: tables and bookcases that inherit the same sartorial tension and the same material essences as the kitchens. These are not merely pieces of furniture, but true "living architectures," designed to welcome everyday life and create a profound visual harmony in every corner of the home.
The Tables: Shapes of Conviviality
The table has always been the fulcrum of domestic relationships, the place where the family gathers. We interpreted this idea of welcoming through four design visions, capable of expressing different souls:
- Volié (Transparent Elegance): Characterized by a refined glass base, Volié (also available in the evocative Scacco structural variant) brings an unexpected sense of lightness to the room. The top, available in countless tactile finishes, seems to float in space, offering an airy luminosity and a whispered elegance.
- Latino (Welcoming Rigor): Supported by a solid painted metal base, it explores broad and generous shapes such as the oval and the rectangle. It is a table with an architectural breath, ideal for defining the center of the living area with character and softness.
- Sablí (Tactile Softness): With a design that favors round profiles or the gently smoothed geometries of rounded squares, Sablí is an ode to fluidity. The absence of visual edges invites sharing, making every moment of conviviality more intimate and cozy.
- Lune (Sartorial Versatility): Thanks to its multiple variations (oval, round, or rectangular) and a cleanly designed metal support, Lune is the perfect archetype to adapt to any living fabric, dressing the space with a sober and warm naturalness.
The Bookcases: Visual Filters for Living the Space
To organize volumes and pace the rhythms of the home without ever rigidly dividing the rooms, we conceived three bookcase systems. More than simple furniture, they are true visual filters that let the environment breathe:
- Polo (Suspended Architecture): Available in both the spectacular ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted versions, Polo is a bookcase with a light breath and is extremely customizable. Fixed floor-to-ceiling, it acts as a delicate divider between the operational area and the relaxation zone, embracing storage units and precious shelves in smoked glass or aluminum.
- Meridiana (The Essence of the Line): A bookcase that makes subtraction its greatest strength. The slender black uprights contrast gracefully with the measured thickness of the lacquered shelves, creating a delicate balance of weights and transparencies, perfect for displaying one's memories with order and serenity.
- Alba (Chromatic Weave): Inspired by geometric regularity, Alba utilizes metal supports embellished with warm and vibrant finishes, from Platinum Metallic to Bronze and Oxidized. It is a structure that organizes the environment with a serene rhythm, welcoming the woods and textured materials of the kitchen to warm the entire room.
Shared Matter: The Feeling of Home
The true soul of this new collection lies in the constant dialogue between surfaces. The melamines, wood veneers, metals, and glass that make up the kitchen systems are punctually found in the bookcases and table tops. This design choice is never purely aesthetic, but stems from the desire to offer absolute sensory continuity: a material embrace that surrounds people and transforms the home into a place of peace, profoundly harmonious and made to be lived in.
