Catalogue and artistic direction of the Chanel project.
The Chanel catalogue is conceived as an integral part of the total home project, designed to establish a coherent and structured relationship between space, image and representation. An artistic direction process that goes beyond simple communication, interpreting the project’s language and translating it into a measured and conscious visual narrative.
The Michele Marcon studio oversaw the entire creative process, defining the editorial framework, the graphic concept and the development of the imagery. Every decision was guided by the intention to preserve a rigorous continuity between the design of the interiors and the way they are presented, avoiding descriptive solutions in favour of a cultivated and orderly reading.
The graphic design is based on balance, proportion and rhythm. Essential grids, discreet typography and a carefully calibrated use of white space create a fluid visual sequence, guiding the reader through the project without ever competing with it. The catalogue thus becomes a silent structure, supporting the imagery and reinforcing its meaning.
A central role is played by the development of the renderings, followed by the studio at every stage. The images do not seek effect, but precision: light is treated as an architectural element, materials are rendered with their true depth, and proportions are respected with rigor. Each rendering is conceived as a visual section, capable of conveying the atmosphere and spatial complexity of the project.
The Chanel catalogue therefore takes shape as a true project extension of the total home. An editorial object that shares the same care, control and formal quality as the spaces it represents. An approach that reflects the vision of the Michele Marcon studio: designing not only the architecture of living, but also the language through which it is understood.
