In the renovation project curated for M.G., the transformation stems from a profound desire to shape a residence with a youthful, contemporary, and fluidly connected spirit, where technical innovation is not flaunted, but rather dissolves into the poetry of everyday living.
The Open-Plan Living Area: Fluidity and Measured Contrasts
The beating heart of the home translates into a welcoming and dynamically flexible open-plan space, where the living area and kitchen coexist in an uninterrupted dialogue. The environment was conceived as a pure and measured scenario, punctuated by a chromatic palette of neutral and enveloping tones upon which accents of material depth are grafted:
- Synthesis between Carpentry and Design: A careful calibration between custom-made furniture, born from artisanal mastery, and serial pieces gives the space a distinct and reassuring personality, an expression of profound design responsibility.
- The Warm Contrasts of Wood: Natural oak restores an ancestral warmth to the surfaces, finding a cultured and rigorous counterpoint in the refined shades of dark brown (testa di moro) and in the textured resin and concrete-effect finishes.
- Architectural Filters: Large sliding doors with vertical slats and concealed pocket systems act as light scenic wings, allowing light to flow freely and accommodating changing daily needs with a soft and silent movement.
